Zanda the Fundraising Cat: 'Cuddles for a Cause!!'

This little cat has a dream to raise $100,000 in the next 12 months for Alzheimer's Australia! Can a cat REALLY raise that much money for a non-animal related cause???... Not without your help!!

Canberra Memory Walk - These Paws Walked for a Cause!!

On Sunday 21 September 2014, I participated in the Alzheimer's Australia Memory Walk & Jog in Canberra ACT.

It was a beautiful morning walking alongside Lake Burley Griffin with many others walking for this cause. Hi Folks,

For the Alzheimer's Australia Geelong Memory Walk, I thought fundraising would be easy! I thought that I, a cat fundraising for a non-animal related cause would have the donations pouring in... I was wrong!!

On Sunday 14 September 2014, I was very honoured to be the only cat who participated in the very first Victorian Alzheimer's Australia Memory Walk & Jog in Geelong.

It was a lovely sunny morning in Eastern Park Gardens overlooking Geelong's bay and I met lots of people and had lots and lots of cuddles!! Everyone was impressed by how much I love being out with people and how relaxed and calm I was amongst the crowds. What do you expect...? I am a Pro!!

I am using my ‘celebrity status’ to give back, by raising funds and creating awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Together with my management, I am participating in the Geelong Memory Walk & Jog for Alzheimer's Australia. I will be part of the 2.4km walk!! I will be the only cat attending and am very honoured to be involved in this people only event!!

I am officially launching “Zanda Gives”!!

I am so thankful for all my supporters who are helping to make me famous!! I want to use my fame for good and to give back to those in need.

I am looking to create partnerships with needy animal welfare groups or other charitable organisations in Australia and hopefully find a corporate or business sponsor to help me give back to those in need.
