Hello friends,

There are so many events happening in Australia's capital city of Canberra all year round. Some of my favourite happen in March.

I have had a wonderful time attending:

- Enlighten Canberra,evening light display on many important and historic buildings. Absolutely breathtaking - lights and pictures displaying history on buildings such as Old Parliament House, the National Library, Queston, the High Court of Australia and many more. I just loved it!

- Night Noodle Markets, I just had to go along and check these out and meet Lucky Cat. Especially after I was mentioned in a random article in Good Food section of the Canberra Times newspaper about Canberra's Night Noodle Market! I had my photo taken with Lucky Cat, walked around the markets smelling the food and saw a Dragon Dance!

- Canberra Day Celebrations, I went to the free activities and amusements that were held on the Patrick White Lawns in front of the National Library of Australia. There was even a Zanda size car there for me to sit in!!

- The Balloon Spectacular, WOW this was Spectacular!! I got up early and went two mornings. The first morning I went it was cancelled as there was not enough wind. But the second morning the Balloons went up!So much colour, so many balloons and sooo many people! I met Yoda and some Star Wars friends who let me have my photo taken with them. Unfortunately, Angry Bird flew away before I had a chance to say hello!

So much fun in Canberra at this time of year. Looking forward to these events again next year.
